Rose Cottage is a light and airy holiday house, great in Summer and cosy in Winter
The holiday cottage was completely refurbished two years ago and has a lovely light, fresh feel to it. The accommodation is spacious with two sitting rooms and a conservatory, as well as a separate kitchen and dining room. The furnishings are generally individual pieces with Cath Kidston featuring a fair amount!

The large sitting room (#2) has huge panoramic windows looking out on the bay, and Cape Cornwall in the distance
There are two sofas and various occasional chairs furnished individually. This room has a large screen TV, DVD and video recorder, as well as a CD player |

The inside sitting room (the red room) has two sofas, a small TV / DVD and a woodburning stove and is perfect for snuggling up in the Winter with the fire on, or escaping the rest of the family

The conservatory connects the two sitting rooms; it is double glazed and has more individual chairs for gazing out to sea towards Cape Cornwall again
You can spend literally hours watching the surfers, or the wildlife including seals, dolphins, and the occasional basking shark
Each sitting room has its own store of toys (meccano, cars, puzzles) and some board games too

The kitchen is newly fitted and as we love cooking, you won't be short of kitchen implements; more of a home from home than a holiday home
There is a large range cooker with three ovens and a ceramic hob; the appliances are built-in including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/tumble drier

The dining room has a large, extendable, oak refectory table with plenty of space to seat 10 people
The room is partly panelled and at high tide it feels as though you are on a ship! There is a high chair, booster seat and an iPod docking station

The fifth bedroom is downstairs and has a large white metal bunk bed (by Jay Be); adults can sit-up in the bottom bunk so it's a good single, or ideal for teenagers! |
